This year, Eaton Square School will be supporting the Chiltern’s Music Therapy founded in 2011 as a direct need for Music Therapy provision in the local area and has now expanded to cover southern counties.
Chiltern’s Music Therapy have specialist services in Brain Injury and Neonatal care and are in the process of starting various new projects which the school will help them fund for. The charity also do a lot of work with mental health patients, as well as the elderly suffering from Alzheimers and Dementia.
We will hold lots of fun events to help to fundraise for the charity throughout the year, make sure to keep an eye on the news page to see what is going on, but it will certainly involve fun musical events and workshops.
For the past two years, the school have been supporting The Evelina Children’s hospital and has raised a grand total of £200,000!
The highlights that helped to raise this impressive amount have been teachers participating in the London marathon, two year 5 girls cutting their hair off and donating it to The Little Princess Trust, another year 5 pupil selling off their art and many other fun fundraising events.
We look forward to building a strong partnership with Chiltern’s Music Therapy and to participate in some creative and fun fundraising events.
