Our School will be moving into a beautiful newly acquired 2,500 square metre building on Eccleston Square in September 2019.
Our new school was originally three townhouses that were built in the mid-19th Century and have since been adapted and interlinked. The building is arranged over six storeys and comprises a traditional solid brick construction with a classical, stuccoed façade and Doric column portico. Internally the property has retained a wealth of period features, including high ceilings with decorative plasterwork cornicing.
Over the course of the summer, we will be renovating and improving the already excellent facilities within the building to better suit our young pupils. We will be creating two libraries, a music centre, an art and design studio, a brand new hall, a science lab, IT facilities and a large canteen.
In addition, we will be opening a brand new Nursery School on the ground floor of our new building. They will be joined in our new school by pupils from Reception to Year 4. Years 5 and 6 will move to our current school at 79 Eccleston Square, just a short walk away. This will provide Years 5 and 6 pupils with easier access to specialist art and science rooms with 50% more space. They will also be able to access the communal facilities in 55-57 Eccleston Square.
