EAL (English as an Additional Language)
At Eaton Square Nursery Schools we offer individual English lessons on a one to one or small group basis for those children who may require some extra help. These lessons offer excellent support for children who may have English as their second language to provide. A specialist teacher on the staff is available to provide advice and support to both parents and the Nursery School staff.
Learning Support
As with the EAL, we are able to offer learning support to those children who may require help. Once again a specialist member of staff is available to support those children who may require some learning support.
Uniform
Nursery School children at Eaton Square are required to wear a blue smock to school each day. These smocks allow the children to work freely and happily in the class room as well as ensuring that they are recognisable when outdoors.
Eaton Square Nursery School smocks are available from each of the Nursery Schools.
Drop-off and Collection
Please inform your Nursery School Headmistress, who will be collecting your child on a daily basis. If you intend for someone other than yourself to collect your child, please supply written confirmation in order for us to ensure your child's safety.
Parents Evenings
An evening for parents is arranged in both the Autumn and Spring terms. You will be invited to book an appointment with your child's teacher to discuss their progress and look at their workbooks and creative displays.
Reports
Detailed reports are sent out to parents twice during the year. They cover each of the six areas of learning and detail how well your child is progressing.
Concerts and Events
A Christmas concert is held at the end of the Autumn Term to celebrate the festive season.
Parents are invited to attend a range of exciting events at Eaton Square including an Open Music and Ballet lesson and our Nursery Schools Sports Day which is held at The Battersea Park Millennium Arena during the summer term.
