14 year old app designer wooed by global firms
Dylan Maryk, 14, a former Eaton Square Student, who designs his own iPhone applications is being flown to Spain to act as an advisor at a technology conference.
Following an interivew in the Evening Standard, organisers of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona asked Dylan to attend the conference. He will be reporting to CEO's of Google, Spotify and Vodaphone in order to attract young people to the event.
Dylan started designing software for apps while at Eaton Square School so he could contribute to his school fees for Ashbourne College which he now attends. His first app, Alarm Music, has been downloaded 3,000 times and he is now looking for a business partner to help his company, MicroApps, expand.
