Year Six in Rome
Year Six are hard at work (!) in Rome this week. Visiting the Vatican, the Forum, the Colisseum and other wonderfully historic sites in Rome the children then travel down to Sorrento to visit Herculaneum amd Pompeii and to climb Vesuvius!!

PTA Quiz Night a Great Success!!!
On Wednesday evening 300 parents and staff attended the Great Hall at the Royal Hospital, Chelsea to take part in a fun evening, in aid of the Royal Wanstead Children's Foundation. This annual event in aid of charity, allowed parents and staff the opportunity to enjoy a fantastic evening of dining with the added focus of a fun (and always competitive!) quiz. In addition, the event featured a silent and live auction of gifts and events donated by kind companies and local businesses. A fun part of the eveing was an art auction of canvases, provided by each class within the school, where every child had played a part in their creation.

The event raised in the region of £50,000 for the Royal Wanstead Children's Foundation. Huge thanks go to the fantasrtic Quiz Night Committee of parents who organised a wonderful eveing.

(The quiz was won this year by the Year Six table, pipping the Headmaster's table by a single point!)

Swimming Pool re-opens
Swimming recommences from Tuesday when school resumes after the Bank Holiday weekend. The Prep School Swimming Gala will now take place on the 12th June.

Parents' isho viewers go live!!
By logging on in the new parent area on the school website you are able to look at resources, notes and pictures published daily by teachers and the office at Eaton Square. As from today there will be a growing bank of information to keep you informed of what is going on and to help you locate those lost worksheets and important letters though a dedicated class daybook channel.

Check your mobile phone for a message which contains log on and password details and see for yourself!

This is such an easy way to stay in touch with what is happening at school and should you want to communicate with your teacher, simply click on the email link under the academic section of the site.
