I-sho back online!
Now that the i-sho server has been successfully rebuilt and rehoused in a secure and future proof London data centre, i-sho is back online to keep parents and pupils involved with their classes again.
Before the half term break in the autumn term, virtually all the classes were using it on a daily basis; numerous parents (and pupils) reported how incredibly useful it was to have access to homework and the resources on which the homework was based. Even now pupils are using it to refer back to work that they did at the beginning of last term for their revision.
Having compared the use of i-sho on the Eaton Square School website with other school websites, in terms of the amount of content posted by individual teachers, no other school comes close. There are 26 different class rooms posting over 1,550 different items...... this is really significant usage, probably unique amongst UK schools generally. Log on again this term to stay in touch - if you have forgotten your password call the school office.

YEAR SEVEN LEAVE FOR THE CHATEAU DE SAUVETERRE
As part of their French studies the children in Year Seven have joined up with pupils from Cothill House and Mowden Hall to experience French language and culture in the South of France. For half a term they will be living and working in school at the Chateau de Sauveterre, near Toulouse. All of their lessons are taught in French and they have the chance to learn the subject as a living language. The term finishes with a trip to the Pyrennees and a week of sking. What a fantastic experience! Parents can track their progress on i-sho or by logging on to the Chateau website!
