Our Year Seven pupils spend a week during the Spring term at The Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy, which has been welcoming children for many years and the beauty of the organisation is that it is staffed with local French teachers and instructors.
No English is spoken and all pupils have to speak French to their teachers to proceed in all areas; at meal times, on the assault course, kayaking on the lake, in French lessons and when on visits to Bayeaux for example.
